When I first started out almost 20 years ago...
I had a demanding two year old, a husband that worked long hours and family on the other side of the globe.
I commandeered the third bedroom and launched a practice from home. I loved working with my hands and being a really positive part of my client's day.
Since then, my life has gone through a few upheavals, including a second child, a divorce, a few moves and some wild adventures as I've uncovered aspects of myself I didn't know existed.
My bodywork practice has been with me the whole way.
Even when my energy for my business ebbed, because I worked from home, I was always able to keep it afloat by offering a few appointments a week.
Now life has settled, I'm taking care of ME much better and I have heaps more energy to work with clients.
Sometimes I find it hard to believe I've been doing my thing for almost 20 years. WOW! And I still love my work and find it deeply rewarding. Double wow.
Today I have a successful home-based practice that I love and that supports me and my teenage sons AND I am able to select clients I LOVE working with without ever feeling desperate or worried where the money is coming from.
I've developed templates and systems so that I feel confident and safe seeing people in my home. I have clear boundaries, healthy rates and happy regularly returning clients. I'm ready to share all of this (and a bunch more!) with you!
