Who is Barbara Swiatkiwsky?

I'm Barbara Swiatkiwsky, a Remedial Massage Therapist (with a specialty in Bowen Therapy) and Women's Business Coach. 

  • I'm a woman with a long running abundant home based massage business

  • I teach massage and Bowen therapy to therapists (both to new therapists entering the industry and experienced therapists looking to diversify with gentle effective hand skills)

  • I create community - I'm an ambassador for Massage and Myotherapy Australia, our peak industry body. In this volunteer role I facilitate monthly meetings which provide an open forum supportive of collaboration. I coach members to share their expertise as guest speakers to our group - allowing for continuous personal and professional development of all members.

  • I advocate for diversity and visibility - As president and founder of Queer Therapists Victoria, I facilitate regular face to face meetings, plus online catch ups so more members can be included AND engage members in shared promotional events
